A Selection of Text

SO DEARLY LOVED, SO SADLY MISSED

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD I SHALL NOT WANT

FOREVER WITH THE LORD

WITH GOD WHICH IS FAR BETTER

A VOICE FROM OUR HOUSEHOLD GONE

UNTIL THE DAY BREAK AND THE
SHADOWS FLEE AWAY

HIS/HER LIFE A BEAUTIFUL MEMORY,
HIS/HER ABSENCE A SILENT GRIEF

SUNSHINE PASSES, SHADOWS FALL
LOVE AND MEMORY OUTLAST THEM ALL

TIME TAKES AWAY THE EDGE OF GRIEF,
BUT MEMORY TURNS BACK EVERY LEAF

GOD FOUND THE PATH WAS GROWING ROUGH
AND THE HILL TOO STEEP TO CLIMB
SO HE GENTLY CLOSED HIS EYES AND
WHISPERED ‘PEACE BE THINE’

THOUGH HER SMILE HAS GONE
FOREVER AND HER HAND WE
CANNOT TOUCH, WE SHALL NEVER LOSE
THE MEMORIES, OF THE ONE WE LOVED
SO MUCH

TOO DEARLY LOVED TO BE FORGOTTEN

REST AFTER WEARINESS, PEACE AFTER PAIN

PEACE, PERFECT PEACE

STILL LOVING, STILL LIVING, STILL OURS

THE DAY THOU GAVEST LORD IS ENDED

TO LIVE IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE
WE LOVE IS NOT TO DIE

HIS/HER LIFE A PRECIOUS MEMORY,
HIS/HER DEATH A SILENT GRIEF

LIFE'S RACE WILL RUN,
LIFE'S WORK WELL DONE

SINCERE AND TRUE IN HEART AND MIND
A BEAUTIFUL MEMORY LEFT BEHIND

LOVED ONE, THOU ART NE'ER FORGOTTEN,
TIS SWEET TO BREATHE THY NAME.
IN LIFE I LOVED YOU DEARLY,
IN DEATH I DO THE SAME.

LOVING AND KIND IN ALL HIS/HER
WAYS, UPRIGHT AND JUST TO THE END
OF HIS/HER DAYS, SINCERE AND TRUE
IN HEART AND MIND, A BEAUTIFUL
MEMORY LEFT BEHIND.

RESTING WHERE NO SHADOWS FALL

ONLY GOODNIGHT BELOVED NOT FAREWELL

HIS/HER SUN SET WHILE IT WAS YET DAY

GOD'S GREATEST GIFT. REMEMBRANCE

GOD HAS YOU IN HIS KEEPING,
WE HAVE YOU IN OUR HEARTS

THAT WHICH IS LOVELY NEVER DIES BUT
TURNS INTO ANOTHER LOVELINESS

IN THE GARDEN OF MEMORIES WE
MEET EVERY DAY

HE/SHE DIED AS HE/SHE LIVED
EVERYONE'S FRIEND

WALKING WITH GOD IN HIS
GARDEN OF REST

GOD GAVE A TREASURE FOR A WHILE,
TO FILL US WITH HIS LOVE,
AND THEN HE TOOK OUR DARLING CHILD
TO DWELL WITH HIM ABOVE.

Verses

JLV1

Memories of you are ours to treasure,
And you will live in our hearts forever,
In Heaven you rest, no worry, no pain,
God bless you till we meet again.

JLV2

Silent thoughts of times together,
Hold memories which will last forever.

JLV3

Words are few, feelings deep,
Memories of you are ours to keep.

JLV4

As time goes by without you,
And months turn into years,
They hold a million memories,
And countless unseen tears.

JLV5

We often sit and think of you,
And forever speak your name,
But all we have are memories,
And your photo in a frame.

JLV6

Time cannot heal the heartache,
Or stop the falling tears,
Or take away the memoires,
Of the one we loved so dear.

JLV7

I am the Sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumnal rain,
When you waken in the morning hush,
I am the soft up lifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine and cry,
I am the not here, I did not die.

JLV8

God takes our loved ones from our homes,
But never from our hearts.

JLV9

Gone from our sight, but never our memories,
Gone from our touch, but never our hearts.

JLV10

To the world you were but one,
To us you were all the world.

JLV11

Goodnight, God bless.

JLV12

God called your name so softly,
That only you could hear,
And no one heard the footsteps,
Of angels drawing near.

JLV13

Yesterday I loved you,
today I love you more,
Tomorrow I will love you more,
Still more dearly than before.

JLV14

For us life was a melody,
A long and lovely song,
For us the song has ended,
But the memory lingers on.

JLV15

The years we spend together,
The happy days we knew,
Are lived again so often,
With memories of you.

JLV16

There is a link death cannot sever,
Love and remembrance live forever.

JLV17

She was a wonderful mother,
She played life's battle fair,
No matter when we needed her,
We always found her there.
